Points: 9.55 Donate | | iPOD + DS Ok, really. You get a better gaming experience with the Nintendo DS then on the PSP. And you get a MUCH, MUCH better media player with iPOD. Why not just carry around an iPOD and a DS instead of a PSP that needs better memory sticks, games and more??? iPOD+DS!

I had a PSP 1.0, reterned it, got a 1.0, upgraded to 2.6 reterned it, got a 2.1, reterned it, got a 2.1, reterned it, got a 2.1, FINALLY reterned it, AND GOT A 1.5!!! Then I upgraded to 2.0, then 2.6! Then, upgraded to 2.7 and was first to post it on www. psp3d.com, then upgraded to 2.71 and will keep upgrading forever... (3.0!!!)

Points: 30.02 Donate | | | ummmm....no. The Ipod's screen is smaller, the PSP has a webbrowser (I know the ds has opera, but the tiny screen ruins it), the psp can stream music and video, you can play back Divx and Xvid and WMA on your PSP, you aren't shackeld to iTunes, upgradeable storage space (i.e., you don't have to buy a whole new PSP when you want to increase the number of gigs it can hold), and you have the wonderful world of homebrew. For DS homebrew, you have to buy a GBA Flash cart + PassMe (or one of the newer DS ones) which doesn't even compare to my lovely 4 gig memorystick because the DS doesn't have the power to address that much space. PSP is a lot easier to upgrade and to mess around with. Finaly, the PSP has more raw power when it comes to hardware. I can multitask on a PSP! The DS can't even output 3D graphics to both screens without suffering a huge drop in framerate because the 3d chip is only designed to work with one screen at a time!
I'm not a fanboy of anything except Linux, but there is a good reason why the DS is cheaper then the PSP. The DS is a good gaming console, and the iPod is a good music player, but the PSP can do the functions of both and so much more. Might as well save the pocket space.
