If you're determined to download illegal content, stear clear of:
- File names with a (1) at the end. It usually means there are mulitple copies, a common trick used by law enforcers.
- Most P2P programs. If you still want to use one, stear clear of files that are way to small or big to be what they really are. (I think there are 851.7kb files that change their name to be relevant to your search, but are worms).
- HideIpPlatinum is good, but will only protect you in a web browser. This is good if you're downloading from Warez sites.
- Don't let people upload from you.
- Don't keep your downloaded files in a shared folder (one that remote computers can access). If they're put there by a program, move them as sooon as they're downloaded.
But as I said, the easiest way is to buy your media. |

There are so many other expenses like college, car, rent that you need to pay for and can't get out of it. Lets face it Not all of us have a nice big money tree in our backyards. |

| As you might have notices, it removes all notes of warez and stuff that might get the thread locked.
But back on topic, HideIP is good, as mentioned by PJ. However, you'll need to register it, and sometimes links you to proxies in different countries, on which some websites are blocked by that country's government. |

in theory for it to be available to download somebody somewhere has already paid for it, its not a crime to borrow stuff of your mates and copy it, so why does it matter that we dont know the person were borrowing it from? also the internet isnt free so i am still paying for the privelege of being able to download it in the first place! | |
