laptop remote controller?

Wow this belongs on the way way off topic section lol, well any ways i have a dell d610(yeah iam not a dell fan at all but it was free >.<) and it has an infrared port and was wondering if there was a nifty little program that will turn it in to a remote controller like the psp has programs for.
