Then it would make him like you more and he would really enjoy it. |

Which one should I go for? He's 14, and likes to program, but also likes video games. ATM his PC has 128mb RAM and a 600Mhz CPU. | 1. You can probably buy a computer with better stats for less money in a month.
2. The Wii is f*($#% addicting. Even I want one (Don't tell the family), even though it feels like I am betraying sony... (^_^ I got a ps3 controller for xmas, and I am counting the pennies till I can afford one).
3. Most computers come out with 1024 MB RAM standard, and single core cpu's are being phased out. Unless you SERIOUSLY overclock and tweak his system (Probably linux would be best on that, since XP would have issues with multitasking), it would be better to get a wii.
Plus, imagine the hours of fun! "I got a Wii!" "I wanna play your Wii!" "Hey guys, look at my Wii!" "Man your Wii is awesome..." "Dude, your ..."
You get the idea.

I don't wanna sound like your grandpa, but you gotta think about practicality. You still have a psp for playing games, and also a ps3. In teh long run, a pc is the better choice |
