I hope u're wrong dude because if it's not going to be cracked or can't be cracked how long do u think the existing Homebrew scene will last ? Everyone will eventually upgrade or they'll have to purchase another PSP to play new games. Either way the existing scene will diminish over time until it disappears completely. I think it's good that Sony keep on trying to stop piracy but it's sad that it's at the expense of HB, which those pricks say might 'damage' your PSP. Even Nintendo have realised that Emulators add fantastic value to their DS but then they've never really been as big (spelled GREEDY) as Sony.

YES! There is a downgrader from 2.00 to 1.50.
And NO, you do NOT need 1.50 to use X5, in fact, it's easier to use X5 with 2.00. X5 is a portal, a site on the web with alot of features and links. The 2.00 have a web browser, the 1.50 don't. But, the 1.50 can however use a firmware launcher to emulate the 2.00 firmware and use the browser! But it's not stable yet, but it's being worked on!

You can get the MPH Firmware Launcher here.

Well, we may have a chance to make a downgrader if someone finds an exploit, but you probably won't get homebrew on 2.01+, only a downgrader.
