To hackmeanew1:
I have used OS X safari, an I know it is good on a Mac, but I was referring how it is crap compared to FireFox on a windows system. The speed has a significant difference on Windows and Mac; perhaps it is in its early stage of development [with bugs and such]...
I'm positive jsf agrees with this statement |

But other than that it is crap. But this Safari might be the next best thing for stuff like that. Now it kind of makes the Mac industry a bit underground now. The only reason some people buy a Mac is to use Safari. So I don't kno about making this move for Apple. But at least they can spread the word around I guess. |

My biggest problem with it is the failure to match Firefox's extension features. Safari does have one of the largest and best libraries of them, but I'm yet to find one compatible with Windows. They're all in the Mac's DMG format, and I don't think there's a way of installing them. With Firefox, of course, it uses universal XPI format.
So far, no comparison. |
