You have to plug in the drive, and go into the BIOS as it's booting up and change the boot sequence so the USB DVD drive comes first. That's as much as I know, someone else needs to elaborate, I think.

That didn't work? Wait, what do you mean by 'you lost the plug'? You mean for the CPU itself, or what?

No offence, but just because your Irish, dosent mean you cant speak English lol. Any way you'll probaly have to enable USB bootfrom your bios. Dont ask me how as all Mobos (Sorry) are different.

If your p.c. has only got a cd drive i dont think your gonna have a usb boot option, simple option if you have an external dvd-drive swap it sort the computer and swap it back. plus if you cant be ar*ed speaking normal and just resort to "txting" language (although txt messages are more readable than what you wrote) then why should we give an anwser back ?

I believe you mean spell properly. But whatever. Agreed.

Anyway, not all computers include the option to boot from a USB DVD drive or whatever. Especially if it's from some company that built it. (Example: Dell/Compaq/Etc) Like the Dell computer the family has doesn't have said option but the computer I put together myself does.
