So, ps33d.com is going a bit slow, and I can understand the basics of why... The level and types of hacking we can do to it is limited at the moment.
However, we have access to Linux for it! Why not gather some data to help noobs use this untapped potential?
So I decided to get a few links together here (And on ps33d.com) to make things easier.
Current list of working ps3 linux: PSUbuntu Fedora Core 7 Gentoo Debian Live Yellow Dog Linux

The PS3 might have more followers if it wasn't so damn expensive. The PSP is somewhat affordable and more and more people are buying it. But the PS3 is still, and correct me if I am wrong, over $500 which is a lot of money for the average joe such as myself. Once the price comes down a little more then the PS3 will be getting some more love. |

I guess im just buying the wrong games, but I still love to mod my psp  .

O.O it is VERY shiny, quiet, and happiness. Youtube looks nice on it, and I like the high def stuff I can download. ^_^ I got this Heavenly Sword Anime I downloaded free from PS3 online... very purty if a tad short.
O.o when you do / if you do get a ps3, make sure to buy the memory card adapter so that you can copy your ps1/ps2 saves to the hard drive... |

I am probably going to wait until it's $200 or less which will probably not be for a long time. I want to get a 360 first anyway. Then a Wii. The 360 has so many good titles coming soon! Don't get me wrong, the PS3 and Wii both have good titles too, but I want the ones on the 360 first . |
