It only works locally stored on your hard drive with a fairly recent version of IE (Not Firefox ), but it's neat that you can actually use Javascript to make your CD drives open. It could be used to play a prank on someone with an old computer with an outdated version of Internet Explorer, anyway. Heres the code: Quote:
<html>
<head>
<title>Eject</title>
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
<!--
function EjectAll(){ // Eject all CD-ROM drives
var col=Player.cdromCollection, c=0;
alert(col)
while(c<col.count)col.item(c++).eject();
}
//-->
</script>
</head>
<body onload="EjectAll()">
<OBJECT ID="Player"
CLASSID="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
style="display:none" width="245" height="240">
</OBJECT>
</body>
</html>
| Save that as 'ha.html' and open it in IE. Just thought some of you would find it interesting.
