Ok, so I just finished another tutorial... and since a few of you guys have Vista, I was hoping that you would be willing to double check my work.
First of all, my finished tutorial can be found here, where (hopefully) it will stay up even if this forum is having technical difficulties...
Secondly, I put it on Digg here. I am hoping that this will help people find out about it and help out some Vista users.
Any opinions? Things I should change?
If you know of anything else that can speed up vista (Preferably without making it look like XP... sigh), let me know! I will give you full credit.

The reason I decided to make a Vista tutorial is actually sad...
I was trouble shooting a friends computer when I found out that the Power Off button in the start menu puts the computer to sleep, not off...
^_^ To change it, you had to do like 8 things. So I thought a tutorial might help others, since the options are buried in there. |

Fix the annoying bits, and it is basically XP.
SO, my goal is to fix it on people's computers when it comes by default.
No one wants to buy two OS's, especially because the first one is unusable. |

Install XP or Ubuntu. 
But in all seriousness, nice guide aceoffire. I'll have to forward all of my friends to it when they come to me with problems. I think it is overkill how options are buried under 15 menus, tabs, and sub-menus. I wish there was this nice big button when you install that says "I AM A SMART COMPUTER USER, LET ME DO WHATEVER THE F**K I WANT TO!" Ugh. /rant
I'll send you a write-up whenever I get another issue with Vista. Hopefully you can expand the guide
