I believe that there is indefinatbly life somewhere else but I doubt whether or not there is life in our solar sytem. (besides us). And an interesting fact, did you know atoms are so numerous that you and me both contain "parts" of Shaekspear, Galalio and anyother historical figure you can think of. However you are not yet apart of Elvis or Steve Erwin, they have to be overa hundred or so years so I've heard.

Thats kinda what the book is trying to say. Sort of. That we are all made of the same stuff, that we are all born out of the Cosmos and therefore are apart of it.

I have heard that too. I think it's since the atoms can't be destroyed they are reused or something like that? If this is true, who decided which atom gets placed where? God? Or something else?

that's if you for example eat a carrot that grew on elvis' grave. he became soil, still the same atoms, the soil became carrot, still the same atoms, you eat carrot and something of it is absorbed into for example your skin and voila, you are elvis.
