I know this is a PSP site, but I also know that there are some Mac users on this site. I saw this article about a hacker that is shutting down Apple and Mac sites for a couple of days. One site in particular is GlennWolsey.com. Here is a screenshot of the site from earlier.

My question to you is: Do Apple/Mac fanboys go to far?

In my opinion, yes they do. In fact they go even further than way to far. yes I do own a Mac. Yes I do own an iPod, and yes I do want an iPhone, mostly to hack

. But I don't think that people will go to hell if they use Linux, XP, Vista, etc.. And yes I have heard an Apple fanboy say this. Sad but true. Some Mac nerds even say the OS X users should be referred to as a community. They (we?) are not a community. They (again we since I use one?) are users. They would be a community if they are working for Apple assembling computers or writing their software, but their not. They are sitting at home, posting on forums saying that they are better than every one else because they pain an extra $500 for their computer. They are also pretending that Photoshop is a game. Well sorry to burst your bubble, but Photoshop is not a game. No neither is iMovie; neither is Garage Band. Alright I'll give you The Sims 2.

Any way are Mac nerds taking things to far or is this hacker going way out of his way for people who just need to be ignored. Or are both parties out of their minds?

EDIT: I posted the poll to see what every one uses. I made it so you can click multiple options because some people dual-boot or has several computers.

yea i do agree they take it far too far sometimes, I mean ok support what you want but there is a line which you can cross. Ive been on a few mac fanboy sites and what i saw was scary, its like a cult lol.

It is. When ever I need something for my Macbook, I am always so afraid that I will get eaten alive in those damn Apple stores.

lol. i like the apple stores around here. every bodys cool with every body else. i just hat the apple sections of stores like bust buy

Yea Best Buy sux for Mac needs. But I do like the Macwarehouse(s) stores and the Apple stores the best for Mac needs. But yea I think they are both out of their minds. One system isn't really better than another. I mean it depends on your preferences and ppl can hav their own opinion on certain things.

Like I prefer using OS X, but I still use XP from time to time. And now Vista at school :'(. Let me just say that Vista and school computer do not mix. Especially with all the software the IT loads on them. But I am not going to shove it in people's faces that I use OS X.

I hit the read first page link. Very interesting. Guys, if I ever become a Mac extremist like some people, please slap me around and force me to use Vista for a week or something.
