Hmm.. Can't you just shutdown the PSP when the update is running?
In the Netherlands they accept PSP's with only 1 dead pixel. Try to contact the customers service in Sweden

Yeah, but according to that the companies can define the pixel amount as they want.

I have read in another post that if you remove the battery while updating your firmware that it will brick your psp.

Ok heres what you do just take out the memory stick when its updating and that will brick it ive don it before
