It did so well and so many people signed up for Xbox Live that it overloaded the servers and Live was down for like two weeks. Lucky for me, I wasn't signed up yet . Any way paying for Xbox Live is pretty lame, but I get some cool features like Demo downloads and Xbox Live Arcade. Does PSN come with features like that? I am pretty curious about this. |

And the PSN network sounds cool. Xbox Live is basically the same service. Does PSN have downloadable content for games? By this I mean extra characters or maps or whatever. |

By this I mean extra characters or maps or whatever. | they have add on content as in more quests(like in folklore), or more songs (rock band, or w/e its called), and things like that, which cost like 5 dollars each to donwload
then they also have user created content u can download for free, like user created quests for folklore |

but i think u can play halo on ps3 through linux(which if u dont know, linux is fully supported by sony)
u install halo for pc on ur computer, and install StreamMyGame server, then on ps3 linux install the client, which is all free, then u can play it on ur ps3, even tho ps3 linux doesnt support 3d games, because its streaming from ur pc it still comes through in 3d |

Some how Micro$oft finds out you modded it and they ban you account and console. | the 360 mod is really a custom firmware for the dvd drive, which makes it no longer check to see if the game in the drive is digitally signed by microsoft, and i guess they check to see if the dvd firmware has been changed.
the ps3 mod is taking off the case and opening the blue ray drive so u can see the game, and put in a ps1 or ps2 game(official(ps3 backups dont work like this)), wait for it to load on the screen, remove it physically and put in a burned game, then press X to load the game, if u do it wrong tho u can ruin the ps3's ability to play dvds, and why would u bust open ur brand new, 500$ system anyway? but there is no way for sony to see this hack(not really a mod)
but there is a switch u can install and keep ur case closed, and u puit in a official game, flip a switch and it spits out ur official game, put in a burned game and flip the switch the other way, then load it. but u can easily buy a slimline ps2 from a store for just over 100, and get the magic keys set and swapmagic for no more than 50 dollars, and use that for burned games (delete if this is against any rules, im just stating this for education purposes )
