One being the Gadgets which are kinda like Widgets only Widgets are much easier on the eyes. The other is that thing where you can scroll through the windows, kinda like Expose(accent mark) And Vista has an unbelievably high amount of bugs in it, and then again so does the rest of the windows series.

| As does Leopard. When I quit out of a program, it always crashes. Not all of them do this, but a good portion. Once Leopard gets up to 10.5.4 / 5 ish versions, things should be better. And once Vista gets to SP2 things should also be better. |

What's gone wrong is that GRUB can't find the menu.lst file from your Linux partition. Do you get an "error 15" message when you start your computer? (I think that's the right number, anyway...)
But anyway, I've done exactly what you've done before, and here's a hint on how to fix it - Super GRUB Disk. It's a tiny download (less than 3MB), and when you start up your computer with it inside, you can navigate to the option to "Restore Windows MBR". That will remove GRUB and give you access to Windows again.

/off topic | yeah thanks. ill keep that in mind next time
but i was being stupid, and deleted the linux partition (which is why grub couldnt find menu.lst) and rebooted.
What i did was make a new partiton, and reinstalled ubuntu. then i properly uninstalled grub by going to the recovery disc

It's a shame, OS X is usually very stable....i guess they rushed development.

And I am glad to see your computer is fixed iamstrange14! |
