Points: 7.36 Donate | | I'm going on vacation, advice on sites and see's? So, an old member who stops by once in a while decided to post a reply. But not even about the PSP. Ok, let's make this a little about the PSP. I'll be bringing it with me for sure... yay! So, down to business:
I'll be traveling from my hometown in California all the way to Tennessee for a wedding. Renting a car, and taking it easy. I've got 7 days to get there and back. So far, here's the stops along the way and if you map out the stops on google maps, you will see all the cities and nearby cities I'll be passing through. If you know of a place that I should visit (such as a museum, food eatery, monument, wonder of the world, or anything neat...) let me know what it is and where it is.
I've seriously traveled to the Grand Canyon in AZ and Reno NV. That's about as far as I've gone from Cali. Oh well, road trip!!! Here are the main cities and most likely, stops along the way:
Starting in: Concord, CA
Green River, WY
St. Joseph, MO
Nashville, TN
Blountville, TN
Muldrow, OK
Gallup, NM
Needles, CA
Ending back in Concord.
So far, I know I'll be stopping for the following:
-Living Proof Church (Tennessee)
-White Castle (Tennessee)
That's it... I heard there was some big country music thing in Tennessee also, but not sure what that's about. I was also told by a friend who moved to Texas for a while about all these food eateries that cater the most delicious and fattening food. (sounds good to me...) =D
Map it out, recommend me some sites and see's. I'm leaving in July and going with my girlfriend. Yeehaa!!! |

So far, on another forum, I've been recommended to Elvis Presly's home, Country music place, and Route 66. I might also get some fine eating recommendations in MO from a local =D | |
