Random PS3 stuff
(since my PSP died, tearing me away from the community).

1) MGS4 comes out in two days (June 1), and is supposedly so large that it required the Japanese audio removed for the American version. Early reviews are positive (Only one so far that I know of, is a 5/5), and it is supposed to be something very neat.

2) Bioshock is being rebuilt for the PS3 with new content/graphics, and will be out this fall (Some time in October).

3) Resistance: Fall of Man 2 will be out this fall, probably November, and will feature 8 player coop (With their own story line), 60 player online matches (Teams of 8 that the computer coordinates to assist/fight other teams, do objectives), and parts of the levels being randomly generated.

4) Little Big Planet is out this fall (^_^_^_^_^ gonna rock! Design anything, share with anyone, easy and pretty).

5) Home/In Game XMB out this fall (I am taking this with a grain of salt, so should you... but this will be awesome when done).

6) As you know, the store has already been replaced with an actual application that is faster/not browser Dependant. They also added an API that will allow people to upload video to youtube and they gave game developers the ability to use Divx in games if wanted.

7) Haze will apparently not be as neat as we hoped (I hope not as bad as lair was).

That is all I can think of off the top of my head.

For the 360, the following is in my mind:

1) Gears Of War 2 comes this fall (Can use enemies for meat shield, new UT engine lets them have hundreds of enemies at one time of multiple types, can fight that big monster thing now). It allows 10 player multiplayer at the moment (Although that doesn't mention if it allows more enemy AI during it) and 4 player coop.

2) Bioshock 2 is under development (Maybe for PS3 as well, but no confirmation yet). Not sure if it is a prequel to Bioshock, or what.

3) Spring/summer xbox update was canceled, so expect something this fall I guess instead. Should be neat though.

For the Wii:

1) There is an SNES emulator out!

Not sure how to install it though.

2) WiiFit looks... um. Well, if you have a hot girlfriend (or if your a chick and have a hot guyfriend) then get them to play huluhoop in their skivvies. Not used to its full potential yet.

3) Boom blox rocks if you haven't tried it yet, and so do all 1rst person Nintendo games.


^_^ I guess it is kind of obvious that I am kinda PS3 centric right now. Anyone got more info on the other two to help catch us up?
