Ya, I think the phone call might actually work though, eh? Providing that the call takers know the combination [if it truely does exist].

ive tried multiple combinations, i tried holding things in postions, and nothing has resetted it. and i dont have the power cord in, but i have the Datel Handgrip, which connects to the power supply port on the PSP (btw, i recommend the handgrip, its comfortable and has 5 hours extra battery life in it.)

Lets not get offtopic here, but i hate the PSP for its button location, on racing games u never get a firm grip!

I will try the toll free number in a second when i go to the shop, Lets hope it works!

i think we need to list ALL the combinations possible and then give it a go. That woul make things alot easier and we could get something big out of this.

the guy picked up the phone, or knocked it off the hook or sumthing, just as i had called, so i heard what they said. ok, well i was on the phone with them for 8 minutes (without them knowing), and this is what i understood. it sounded like 3 men and a woman, but one man seemed to be going and coming back like every minute.....so they were talking about logging users, and that they will "probably never delete information about them" and they will "keep user information" "to enhance experience". they were afraid that users would be "sensitive" to this. then they brought up itunes, and one man asked how many computers "they" (i think that meant Apple) allow the copy-righted songs to work on. the woman answered five times. a lot was said that i couldnt really hear, but that was basically it. i think that was the support section of sony, wondering what to say for Sony Connect users when they find out about the new protection (being that rootkits didnt work well, lol). so im guessing the new protection logs user's computer info, and the songs will only be allowed to be used a certain amount of times, like itunes.
