| | | | PSP's future? If you have bought your PSP to play games then thats cool, but as an up and coming developer i like to go deep into things...very deep!
This is a basic topic really to see some views on PSPs future, i dont mean the future of PSP Sales, or Sonys future, i mean the future for developers and hackers/crackers. In todays days its very early as the PSP is very new but give it 6 months at least and i recon we will be able to attach HDDs over 4gb with a bit of modding and ease!
Ive herd people on other forums talking about installing MAC OS and working on a PSP..........This is the start of a very exciting era!
I traded a PC for a PSP, well i sold a PC for $500 in order to buy a PSP because i want to be able to mod this thing to shit! and still keep it fully or semi portable, so the thought of seling a PC for nothing is depressing, which is why i have the drive to get noticed in this scene and do something good!
Because a huge ammount of people share the same interest as me i am posative that we will see some weird and waky things!
For now im working on a way to downgrade 2.01, if i crack it b4 anyone else then good for me! if not i gain some valuble experience.
What y'all think of the PSPs future for us budding developers? |

| | | | i think thats already been done, well theres a regualr PSP tuner.....im 90% sure there is, may be mistaken. Something i will invest in though! Be cool to watch tv in the car or on the bus.
When u say HD T.V Tuner, do u mean one that can record shows? or where u can pause tv? |

| | | | Hey DJGuvna,
great to see some Belgian people on this forum, since you were talking about the PSP's future... I would like it to become some sort of PDA, with GPS, voice recording, scheduler, etc. We'll be needing a OS to run from boot, but with the ability to go to the original Sony OS and play games from UMD or memorycards. A better way to type would be great, maybe a keyboard view and some kind of dictionary like on my cellphone. Ir applications, to tun on or off my tv, stereo, dvd, vcr...
Anyway, great to have you here. Mundaka Inc.
