lol - flash. What do you mean too scared of bricking my PsP? trade in 2.5 psp --> pay £50 and get new (insert firmware version here) PsP.. no problem. I'm just not sure about what firmware version i'd end up with. Not sure if i should do that or wait for someone to either downgrade or create an eboot loader for 2.5+

i thought you meant by taking it back that you were going to try and get a 1.5 at the same shop and use homebrew on it

I havent decided yet but after searching a few posts i think i'll leave it, it looks increasingly likely that they are not making PsPs with firmware below 2.0 anymore
