Its seems many people are confused. When i posted the first topic on this i did not mention anything about it reseting your console. We do not know what it does and im 99% posative you cant reset a console with a button press.

If i were to take a wild guess at what it does id say that it gives you acess to console info, like the date it was made, O/S info, console specs ect.

I'm buying an iPod Nano because I hate Soncistage SO MUCH! It wiped out all of my PSP songs including prchased music and new purchases never download. There is nothing wrong with my PSP and when I send emails they never even bother replying! I lost £20's ($35) worth of songs! iTunes are much more reliable.

Yah, we gotta figure out this key combo. I've tried quite a few already. Maybe u need a umd or the ac cord in first in order to use the key combo, but I have no idea. Maybe call up ur local Best Buy or something like that (if u have one).

We still need to find that combo, but is it possible to make some sort of log. What I mean is using ur usb cable hook it up to the computer with psp on other end. Then, somehow make a program that records everything the psp does through the usb cord?

I don't think the key combo will downgrade a psp, sony aren't that stupid. It will be like some mobile phones where a certain key combo just shows an information screen that tells you what firmware you're running and your serial number and other useless information.
