So I have McAfee Virus Scan installed plus ad-aware and spybot. And when I start a full scan with Ad-aware...McAfee tells me there's a bunch of viruses Exploit-ByteVerify, BackDoor-AZV, Generic Downloader.k operating and deletes them except a JV/Generic virus being quarantined. What is the meaning of this? And what should I do? Uninstall Ad-aware and reinstall to see if it persists?

Points: 0.50 Donate | | | Lol, Ad-Aware probably removed those viruses in the first place and quarantined them. McAfee is probably just accessing the Ad-Aware quarantine, or accessing the files when they are being moved to quarantine.

Points: 0.49 Donate | | Mcafee is shi&t, try using a diferrent virus checker, like Norton or Panda,and i would recomend using SpyBot http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html for searching out adware. Also becarefull what sites you go to and what software you download, always check a download with a antivirus before you run it. You might want to try changing your browser to firefox http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ it is much better than I.E |

Points: 24.43 Donate | | | DONT install norton!!! The scanner is verry good. But you cant delete it of your pc. You can but there will always be some files on your pc from norton.

Points: 0.50 Donate | | | Norton is crap. I highly reccommend ZoneAlarm Security Suite, full suite including firewall, antivirus, antispyware, email protection, im security protection and more.

oh and btw, this is not a trial as you can see, the beta is full, and the button is useless. microsoft will make it usable when 1.0 is launched.
