hmm i think the psp is downgradeable trhough the gta exploit though... look here is my idea.. make a prog that restarts the psp and after the reboot the program is still in the ram and only loads the modules that is in the 2.0... that way we would have the vurnability that is in the 2.0... but this idea chrashes if the psp refuses to have the prog still running after the restart

I dont think you can & Fanjita said so himself that he didnt think you cant downgrade via the gta savegame hack.

just couse the exploit can't acsess kernal won't mean it's unable to downgrade i mean my idea won't acsess kernal either (until the reboot) it just stays in the mem till it gets a sign that the psp is starting up..

theres always ways to downgrade... if its possible to make a custom firmware i believe its possible to downgrade and update to any firmware you want

nice location u got supa_sick... ehm but now to the thing... well yeah unless sony is setting something in the firmware that unables futher updates and deletes the memstick game menu... but still that is not enough couse we still go the savedata exploit... but hay that won't be able if sony sets new umds to ask for signation on every code... wich would make the psp really slow

When the psp reboots everything in the RAM will be lost.
