of course sony is showing us that it may b thinking about pushing us into upgrades (seen in new games requiring updates)

Why did you upgrade to 2.5 anyway? It really has no good features other than what 2.0 already had (the web browser, AVC videos) and the games didnt require it. I could see if you had to upgrade for GTA: LCS or something but there was no reason you had to, and now you're all begging to come back down when there was no reason to go up in the first place!!

if youve read around a bit youd know that none of us here tried to get there in the first place

tv thing? $300 ?? what do you mean? i accidentally did it scanning for updates (as good as 2.0 came , i thought itd b better ) now ther saying for 2.5 to upgrade to 2.6 bcuz of security alikeness.but i dont wanna b screwed over again. i had a 1.5 (not a virgin,downgraded) and i couldve had HB but the confusion over the 2.5 downgrader is probly slowin things down.
