Would Sony allow us to have User Mode? I'm not saying that they would, just wondering why they don't. In User Mode we can just pretty much run Homebrew games only, since there is no Kernal that means no ISO's. They can just add a bunch of security blocking Kernel Access and ISO's from Sony's UMD's to run. Can Sony allow us to have User Mode? |

Points: 2.47 Donate | | | Yeah their might be some exploits, but as of 2.0 and up we can't use any of the ISO's. So it's not like it's easy to hack it to kernal mode. So why wouldn't Sony allow User Mode? |

Points: 7.35 Donate | | | or just have a system that only runs home brew games and already comes with all emulators and games but that is all it can do so no iso's can run off of it no umd just a small hard drive the popular ones along with the psp we already have than people should slow the psp hacking down for a while just a thought

Points: 8.87 Donate | | | Sony could allow kernal access but still manage to block iso's with patches, the thing is if they did that im sure it would be cracked in no time, I think sony should allow user mode homebrew (even thou not all homebrew is user mode) And there will be ALOT of happy sony psp users out there. |

meaning a lot more sold psp's, and with that also a lot more sold umd's.
oh. and if they would half the price for umd's then propably they would even sell more than double the amount of umd's.
but imho big companies dont care at all about their customers. |
