Points: 4.93 Donate | | | homebrew games, firmware, updating? okay, with all of this talk about not updating, and homebrew games and everything, im a little confused. I've looked at topics to see what "homebrew" games are and y not to update...but all i can find is "when is the next downgrade comming out" and i think i kinda know whats going on...but.....im not 100% sure or not...so whats going on? i mean what exactly are homebrew games and y not to update? also does this look good (personally i htink its pretty kool because it has alot of interesting stuff for 25 bucks, but i want to know if i should buy it) heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT(look at the part where it shows all of the things it does, such as downgrading, paint on psp, attaching external wi fi, ect.)

Points: 0.49 Donate | | | homebrew games are things that people like you and me make,not sony! and there are dif types,like emulators and apps and browsers(which i hear suck) and there are games that people make for you to play! usually just a port(a remake of a game,simply)but they are good,,some actually go commando and CREATE theyre own games...but yeah this is only ofr FW 1.00,1.50.and some 2.0 nothing else!! |

| | Member | | | | Homebrew games are homemade games that PSP users create. There are also Homebrew applications such as PSP PDA and things like that. Homebrew gives your PSP new meaning, because you can do much more than Sony wants you to. Also, so homebrew applications run PSP game ISO's, which are full PSP games ripped from the UMD and loaded on your memory stick to play them. They are totally free and work better than the UMD game. People dont want to update simply because they either like homebrew games a lot, or they like free PSP games.... Like me lol... BTW: You can find some isos at my site... Look at sig...
Oh and no you should not buy that because its a waste of money... You can find everything that he is offering on the internet for free!!! If you need a downgrading guide, then just ask, because I have a pretty good one... Plus, if you wanna convert DVD's, use PSP Video 9... Search www.download.com or limewire or something... Dont waste your money...
