Points: 10,011.87 Donate | | | Prob with internet explorer - Desperate .. PLS HELP ME OUT
Hi guys , Can anyone please help me out here .. I`ve been looking to solve this problem for about 2 months and can`t find anything . I just want to avoid having to re-install windows .
Ok here goes with my problem :
Certain sites (for example: sonyxteam) using internet explorer don`t work .
I just get a blank white page , and status bar (bottom left) says "Done"
When i try the same sites using Netscape they work perfectly . WTF!
I`ve tried the following :
Disable firewall
Disable Norton Anti Virus
Updates all windows
Updates DLL files
Remove ALL browser helpers
Re-Install JAVA
Delete Temp files / Cookies / History
Windows repair (SFC)
Scan disk
And some other stuff .. Forgot what though .
I`m using Win XP Pro , IE 6.0 with all updates
Please please help or else i`ll have to format and re-install and i really don`t feel like the hassle .

Points: 10,011.87 Donate | | I tried Firefox but i`m soooooo used to the interface of IE that i wanna remain using it . Thats why i`m not using Netscape as my default browser ..
Yes Ihateusing2.5 you had helped me out but i`m still stuck with the problem  ... I`ve got a cable connection . Never gave me any trouble and i more blame IE then anything else because of the fact that Netscape works fine and so did Firefox when i tried it

Stupid noob question here , but is it skinable so that i can make it look and feel (use) like IE ?
