i'm having trouble with even installing the x5 portal. I downloaded it and was excited and read the read me file. I dont know what the common file is. No i wasnt under a rock i didnt have the internet for a while a long while thats how i upgraded all the way to 2.5(through the public library). If anyone has any advice please helpme!!!!!!

you bring up the psp on your computer then open the folder called psp then there should be the common folder. Its with the music and video folder

Did you make the folder with all Caps, cause I believe you have to, create the folder COMMON under the PSP folder, not sure why it isn't there.

yes i did use all caps and the portal still doesnt work

format your memory stick and that should give you all the required folders. but make sure you get all the stuff you want off mmc like photos vids and save game files
