Points: 19.90 Donate | | Improve FireFox speed (for broadband users) Aight this is a guide ive had for ages and its also on the net as well
any way all u firefox users know that its open source so you can modify it as you will
well for those broadband users these tips will really boost up firefox, it will load multiple pages faster and just be faster in general
aight here goes 1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!
for this to work close firefox after applying the settings and reopen it
dont know who its origionaly by but quite a shitload of people found this out by em selves

nevertheless il try to find a way on how u can delte the string
bingo found it
Ajs, go to the string thing u created, right click it and select reset, it will not go away i know, but after reseting it close firefox and reopen it and it will be gone , voila
