USB troubles

when i plug my psp into the usb and put it into usb mode the computer says USB device not recognised does anyone know why or how to fix it?

yes it has worked before and im using windows XP SP2 ive use 2 different USB cables aswell and they both get the same result its doing it with all my USB things like my printer and WiFi MAX

short on the usb between d- and d+ ...
check that there is nothing broken off inside the port

Try uninstalling the usb drive and then restart your computer, your computer will
find new drives and reinstall them

well ive got the printer working again but not my PSP or WiFi MAX they are just called unknown devices
