No one has mentioned, it could also very well be a power supply problem, if you are not seeing any error mesages and it just seems to power off, there is a good chance that is also what it is, but first check that its not spyware by loggin in safe mode.

If this still doesnt help try chaning the power supply, and cleaning the fan.

get some anti spyware and anti-virus software, www.grisoft.com is a free virus scanner called AVG, its decent enough, and get ad-aware, does the job for spyware from www.lavasoftusa.com
