you dont actually need a modchip to run evolution x etc on an xbox.
evolutionx is just a front end, which allows other applications to be ran. It just so happens that the release you got happend to have the n64 emulator on it. You probably paid someone to mod it for you and they put it on there.

You can flash the bios itself with a CD, without the use of a modchip, which can be found by googling.

You can also, once you have done that, play backup XBOX games, without needing to copy them to the HDD, if you only have the original drive etc.

yes.The CD Way is called a SOFTMOD meaning a certain games saves has an exploit in it.Just like our GTA!!!But this one installes a bios into the system so we can play backups on DVDs>Evox is just a replacment dashboard which loades xbe files.
