If you are able to remove the parts and put them back in try that. When you start up ur win98 it will pick it up as a new device. Also, maybe list what you got for the cards like part number and name. Try to google it also, because their is a one in a million chance someone had the same problem too. Also, maybe move your cards to a different slot in the computer. That sometimes works too.
