Problems with MP4s

Hi everyone,

I'm having problems with changing my videos to mp4s. I use psp video 9. When I view the mp4 when it's done, the sound is not synced with the movie. What is wrong? Would using a different encoder work?

Thanks.

well sometime I also have the same problem. I also have no idea how to fix this. I would also gladly wait for some expert's advice on this.

Do you by any chance know if the PSP movie creator is any better or different? It's on the same site.

*EDIT*

Just realized that movie creator costs money. Nevermind.

I have solved the problem. I found max media manager and now I use it when transferring movies. The game save function can come in handy, too.

it has to do with audio compression. when you create a mp4 make sure the audio bit rate is in porportion to the video bit rate. avi's dont usually have this problem, mpegs being compressed to mp4 have a big problem with this. so if i was you i would follow this process (mpeg--->avi---->mp4) hope that helps
