I want to make some backups of them, so my little brothers can play the original versions and leave them by the ps2 and then take the backup disks and put them in my room and hide them haha. I know you can use dvd decrypter to do it, and then burn the iso onto a dvd-r but i was just wondering if you had to have a modified ps2 with a modchip and all that crap in it, in order to play burned ps2 games.
I also understand that most of the time ONLINE won't work on burned games. PLease answer as soon as possible please.

I don't know of anything that allows you to do the same for PS2, so you need to get a modchip if you want to play backups. |

I am pretty sure it isn't illegal to post links to modchip site so here you go: http://www.mrmodchips.com this is probably one of the cheapest sites for modchips on the web. The chip I would recomend for the ps2 is the DMS4 E.Z.I PRO it is solderless or if not there is a solderless version and is very easy to install I instsalled mine with ease within 10mins you will have to take the ps2 all the way apart and you will need a V5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ps2 to use this you can check what one it is by searching on google.
Or you can get the soldering version that will be compatible with all ps2's. And if you want the cheap alternative get Swap Magic 3.6 off of ebay. |
