your mobo shouldnt matter unless the screen is actually part of the board, if it isnt just replace the screen. if you choose to go down that road let me know how it works out

Stuck pixels can be fixed but dead ones are ... well dead(cant be fixed)

i agree with Bono. If you're still having prolems, either there is something physically blocking you from seeing those 7 parts of the screen because they managed to get underneath the glass covering or you're just unlucky.
