So this may sound kind of cheesy and unprofessional, but I felt like explaining why we've been slow on news posts/site updates lately.

So I had a final paper to write for my Biology course for my undergrad at UVA. 10 pages, single spaced. Been spending the past 3 days writing it; kinda hid from the Internet world for a bit. So last night I happened to finish the paper. Went to a quick dorm party, had a little something to drink, went to bed, and woke up at 7 AM for class. Get in my car and I realize the final due date was 8 AM. I was in my car at 7:50 AM. So me, being a foolish tool, decided to speed things up from the distance between my dorm and the class. Yes, I hit it up to 80 on a 25 MPH road. Apparently, I was still drunk from the night before (don't ever drink and drive kids). Slammed my 325i into a tree, basically totalling the front. Fortunately, I came out OK. My 21st birthday gift from my GF, a Rolex Submariner w/Date, did not come out OK. See pic here. Smashed on the top left after it hit the window from the accident reflex. That's sapphire that's broken, not glass. Boy is my GF going to be pissed when she sees what happened. So, now we're at 10,000 + 4,000 in damages, bringing me to a loss of 14,000 in one day (Geico would only pay 5,000 of the car damages, as well as shooting up my insurance rate). Ahh, but things get worse. When the campus police came, of course, they gave me the good ol' handheld breathlizer. Showed up as a 0.086, 0.006 higher than the legal limit in the state of Virginia. Sucks, eh? Temporarily talked myself out of it by claiming that Robotussin pushed me over the edge, since my breathe did smell like it from the little dose I had in the morning to fix up my migraine. Still not sure whether or not I'm getting charges for that crap, they're gonna call me back. And still, it gets worse. My foolish, retarded roomate thought like giving me a hand in tough times, and surprising me by upgrading my second PSP (the 1.5) to firmware 2.7. He had just heard about the new firmware today on like IGN or Gamespot or some crap like that, and thought like he could cheer me up with Flash 6... on my second, 1.5 PSP! (already have a 2.7 firmware PSP!). Ha ha ha. Great day for a new N64 emulator to be released. =)

Anyways, enough ranting, hope that wasn't too long. Also hope I didn't tick too many people off with the lack of news. As always, I feel myself obligated to make up for things like this with stuff... probably a contest this time around. Stay tuned the next few days as I release more details about the contest, and as news posts pick up once again!
