I recently installed windows xp on my computer and activated it and now when i log on it tells me i have to activate it, but when i click to activate it says, "Windows is already activated"?
I tried to boot in safe mode and see if it said the same thing and it does.
What should i do?

Points: 1.28 Donate | | | sounds like a dodgy copy of xp, almost like something's tried to get around activation
try re-installing if possible, id check out microsoft.com and see what the go is

What should i do? | ezactly the same happened to me when i put a new motherboard (bought of ebay) on my pc after my old one blew up, but when i start my pc it gives me an option to start window xp or some other option (cant remebr what it said) and then i choose that and pressed restore pc to best working time and then when i loged on to windows, it let me activate windows | |
