I going to get photoshop and I was wondering if it's really hard to use and if it takes a lot of time to learn how to make the cool images. I'm getting it to make psp backgrounds and I was just wondering if it was really hard to use or not. Does anyone else have this program and is it worth getting?

It's easy to use for edits and basic operations, but it takes time to make nice gfx and effects...

But it's a great app

Ok, so it takes a while to make good banners and pics and stuff, will I have to read the help section to learn it or can I just fiddle around and figure it out, the basics anyway.

It takes a *bit* of learning, but it's not that hard with all of the tutorials on the internet for it. Took me around a month to get the hang of it, now it's as easy as anything to use.

they are all right on that. But there are several books that are good. Plus there are a wealth of tutorials on the internet. Just look for the ones that fit the version of adobe photshop you got.
