I got a cool e-mail today. If you have Skype, you can make free calls to any landline in the USA and Canada! According to the email, this trial will last to the end of the year, so use it while you can. I just thought this would be interesting to share with all of you.
I've noted that the number on the caller id comes up as "+1 000 012 3456."
Now if only there was a homebrew skype program....

1) Skype is propritiaty in it's format (would need to be reversed enginered)
2) Every communication in the protocol is encrypted, preventing reverse enginering.

I think our best bet is to ask skype to make a program themselfs. Hummm...what would a skype umd look like...Someone photoshop a pic!
