I got a question here before I download the beta version of windows vista:
Does anyone know if you are required to validate before you can use it (not that i would have any problems validating   )
I just wanna know cause its like 3 GB and it would really suck if i wasted all that time downloading it and it wont let me validate

I don't think Microsoft would have the validation process included in a Beta of Vista, because those upgrading from beta to beta would have to re-validate every time, and each Windows validation key can only be used 3 times. Again, don't take my word for it, wait for someone with Vista to reply. |

Then they'll ask for your name and e-mail, and then they'll send you an email with a validation link. The next page, they give you the download links AND A FREE VALIDATION CODE, straight from Microsoft!!!! Awesome! Vista, here I come! |
