I think it's too fast for a regular pc. First of all, the energy usage. Second, the overheating would tear up the pc quick.

we need to buy a couple of em and make super computers and decrypt the keys everytime sony decides to change them

Yea I saw it on engadget too And its not a clock speed of 500....Its the CPU's operating frequency. This is still amazing though since most chips only run at about 1/50th of that.
