The Elder Scrolls IV

Hey everyone, i'm sure most of you will agree that "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" is a great game. It's hard to grasp the concept of, and quite complicated, so many people Re-sell the games before they know what's going on. This is a shame.

But, that is not why I started this thread. I started it, because i have it for my Xbox360, which is broken, and will be shipped for repair next week. However, a colleague from work is selling me a PC copy, but before i buy it, i want to know if it will be compatible.

On the official website, it states these system Specs:

There's a lot of information there, so i apologise but i'm fine with all the memory, disk space, and proccessing power, but my video card chipset is not listed here. Mine is a "GeForce4 MX 440-SE", and it's website is HERE

Do you think it will be compatible?

because of ur video card i would say it had a very slight chance of working, since it is only 64mb, my mate has got it on his comp and he has a 128mb card and it plays a bit flicky and jumpy. lol i got this on xbox360 aswell, its the best game i got!!

No it won't be compatible the reason being is because of the videocard its really really old lots of oc games wont work cause of youre vid card. It's mainly because it doesnt have some new features

I ran DirectX diagnostics, and ran all the tests to see if my hardware supported everything, and it all passed, so it might not be that it lacks the features, it just cant use them as well as it should.

Oh well. It's a new video card for me then.... how much does a decent one cost?

if your trying to run obliv on PC with those specs, not gonna happen. it 'might' run, but it'l be slow as.

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (Microsoft Corporation) is SO out of date.

I have a 2.6ghz, 1gb ram, radeon 9700pro, and it doesnt run as well as i'd like it to, with settings turned down etc.
