Warning! Very Short Game! Prey Review

Well... I am a bit disappointed. I just finished the newly released game, Prey. But I warn you! It is VERY short. I finished it in roughly 5 1/2 hours! But this game is DEFINITELY worth a rent for 360 (although I purchased it for PC). The Gravity alterations and the weapons make for a very interesting game. Although it is not for the light hearted. There is quite a bit of nudity, mostly just breast, but don't play this with your parents around mmkay. There are a few parts at the end where they flash up for 1 frame pictures of dead bodies and such. And once you do finish, wait until after the credits, a little tidbit is there, needless to say, "Prey is coming."

The storyline is half decent for the amount of time the game is played, not very deep though.

Graphics are pretty good, uses the Doom 3 engine, physics are quite good, no where near as deep as half life 2.

The weapons are quite fun to use, a deadly arsenal if used correctly.

There are a lot of autosave points, so you really dont have to worry about saving.

MultiPreyer is pretty bad... Good level design though, but with the gravity, it gets pretty bad...

Runs nicely on my system, 60 FPS with everything cranked on my oc'd 3.2GHz Intel P4 Prescott, X800 XT, 1gb of ram.

All in all, I'll give it 8.5/10. Worth a rent, not a buy IMO

Ah Desolata, desolata..... We can't ALL be as talented as you in video games :P . Jk, I downloaded the demo about a week ago and was quite impressed with it. But when i got the game it was a differnet story........ Almost as same as you, But except I got mine on saturday around 6 Pm. Didn't play it until the next day when I am home alone. Started at 10AM and beat the game around 4:30pm. SO in conculsion. YES THIS GAME IS SHORT! VERY SHORT! but as Desolata said. Rent it.

Yea, I read the Gamespot reviews I wuz really expecting more from it. And G4 made it look worse. Then again X-Play gives almost all games that aren't spot on a bad score even tho the reviews turn out funny. Yea, E3 gets ur hopes up with flashy stuff and the game shoots ur hopes down like Dick Cheynney.
