Its selling like hotcakes, but the lack of software sales and rampant piracy have left a bad taste in developers mouths. |

On a side note, I am using IE7 on my gf's computer and good lord there is a lot of ads and the site is slow as hell! I usually visit the site via Firefox with AdBlock and NoScript.
On another side note, I am making a big effort to post more news on the site, but I can't do it alone! Please some one else needs to help me out! |

Getting back to the topic at hand. I noticed we always have guests on the site if you look at the Who's online link under quick links. So if we can find a way to get at least some of those people to sign up it would really help to rejuvenate the site. like right now there 155 Guests online |

Its been hacked, and its easy to hack now... all that is left is to tell people how to do it. That takes a lot of the magic away, since we are no longer "Almost there!".
Not only that, but the PS3 allows linux OS's to be run on it, so a lot of the good hackers feel no reason to bother.
Not that there have been no small breakthroughs... One guy figgured out how to run random java code from any ps3 usb stick (A big deal).
If this site wants to be rebuilt, I have an idea.
People come for help, yes? Lets give it to them.
Restructure the forum, add a section called "Tutorials".
IN that forum, have one board for each console, PSP, PS3, and PS2, 360, wii, etc.
In each forum, have a sticky thread called "Index of Tutorials". It will link to the best of the best tutorials.
ANd then we go out, find the best tutorials, rewrite or copy and paste them here, and link to the source.
People will start coming here as their first stop when they need help. We don't need to do all the heavy lifting (Making tutorials), and those who make tutorials also get traffic due to the large link we put at each new thread!
^_^ Then this place will grow like never before! Thousands of people will stop bye to find tutorials to other sites, and we will become higher on the google search pages as well.
What do you think? |

One thing to keep in mind, this is Robert A.'s site. He can and will do with it as he chooses. If he takes your advice, great! If not, no big deal. I'm sure there is some other solution out there. | |
