Points: 19.31 Donate | | | A rating system works on namepros.com, and it's the largest forum that I've ever seen. It runs on vBulletin as well. It's just a suggestion.

Points: 0.04 Donate | | | i dont think they should bring in a points system because it was being miss treated. but i think that some sort of reputation thing would be good because it would alow new users to see who they could ask for help and know that they wouldnt get made fun of because they are new to psp |

Thanks for the suggestions, I will see what I can do, but as it is, this site takes a huge portion of my daily time. |

I know on the nampros system, you get a point for every positive, and you lose a point for every negative rating, so a new member won't be penalized if their first review is negative, because -1 is not a big deal since it is still a fairly neutral rating. But if you have -103, there's a problem. lol. So if you intend to contribute, your rating will gradually climb up the ladder. Hey, I didn't invent feedback the system, it's a vBulletin system that's been successful in forums for years.  |

Points: 0.04 Donate | | | Yes but what were saying is that if the site is already taking up a lot of admins time then lets just cut him some slack for a bit. He brought us this great site and we should be grateful. But if he feels like he wants to introduce this system then go for it. |

That doesn't happen in forums where the general age level is above adolescent/teenage years. I'm going to look into it further, but no promises as of yet. |

The points system was a complete failure. I strive to make all features on the site free of charge (advertisements support everything), but making it open to all members caused mass-posting for 'virtual money'! I just fear something along the same lines happening with this reputation-like thing. | |
